Portugália was born in 1925 as a small counter inside the factory on Avenida Almirante Reis, where draft beer and snacks were served while customers waited for their beer barrels to be filled. Eight decades later, the counter was reborn.

Now mainly found in shopping centers, Portugália Balcão offers quick and friendly service, featuring the signature dishes that made the original restaurant famous nearly a century ago.

Delicacies such as steaks (grilled or with our famous sauce), prego sandwiches, croquettes, and the renowned imperial beer—a masterpiece passed down through generations—are all prepared with care and passion, in light portions and at friendly prices.
