From November 9th to January 5th, the Forum Algarve Xmas Experience invites you to live an unforgettable Christmas experience, where every detail has been designed to involve the whole family in the true magic of this season. This year, our Christmas Village is transformed into a fairytale setting, with an illuminated circuit full of surprises, a cosy Christmas market with typical Christmas delicacies and an enchanting Parisian-style Carousel, perfect for all ages. 

In the heart of the Central Square, you’ll find our 25m high Christmas Tree, ready to create memories in every photo.

We also invite you to glide and have fun on our Ice Rink, where the magic of Christmas comes alive at every turn. Whether you’re skating for the first time or creating family memories, this is the perfect setting to experience unique moments full of Christmas charm at Forum Algarve!

The 18th edition of our beloved Gui’s Book brings a story that encourages children to explore the real world and create their own ‘Happiness Board’, an invitation to live moments away from screens and the digital world, getting closer to the true Christmas spirit.

The Creative School Competition is also back and challenges local schools to let their imagination run wild by creating their own ‘Happiness Paintings’. The works will be on display for voting at Forum Algarve and all visitors can take part by voting for their favourite piece. 

To vote, you need to present an invoice (with NIF) for a purchase made at Forum Algarve during the Christmas Campaign period (2014, November 9th to 2025, January 5th) at the Information Desk, regardless of the value of the invoice.

Ice Rink and Carousel Ticket Office

Family Pack (4 Ice Rink tickets + 2 skating support equipment tickets) – 16€

The ticket office will be located at the Forum Algarve Information Desk and will open half an hour before the rides open to the public.

You can also buy tickets online via Ticket Line and avoid the queues at the ticket office.

Rules for Using the Ice Rink

1. As users of the Ice Rink, you automatically accept the above rules, as well as the instructions given by the monitors;

2. Tickets are sold on the Ticket Line or at the Forum Algarve Information Desk, at the times indicated on site;

3. The ticket is valid for any day during the track’s opening hours;

4. Ticket price (20 minutes of use):

– Ice Rink Ticket – 4€
– Skating support equipment – 1€
– Ice Rink + Carousel Pack – 5€
– Family Pack (4 Ice Rink tickets + 2 skating support equipment tickets) – 16€

Note: Skating support equipment does not entitle you to use the rink. It is necessary to purchase an Ice Rink Ticket;

5. The maximum capacity for users of the Ice Rink is 50 people;

6. Entry to the rink without skates is not permitted;

7. For safety reasons, only people aged at least 3 are allowed on the ice rink. Children aged 3 to 5 (inclusive) can only use the rink if they are accompanied by an adult (one ticket per person must be purchased);

8. For children aged 6 and up to 12 to use the ice rink, they must be accompanied by an adult on the rink and in the preparation area;

9. Entry to the preparation area is only permitted to users with a ticket, except as indicated in point 8;

10. The Ice Rink Staff is not responsible for any children on the premises;

11. Access to the Ice Rink is by designated route only;

12. Skates, helmets and skating support equipment are subject to availability at the time and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis;

13. Helmets are recommended for all users;

14. Skating with exposed knees and/or elbows is discouraged;

15. The use of gloves is advised inside the Ice Rink;

16. Users must wait for the announcement by the monitor to enter/exit the Ice Rink;

17.Users must use the facilities and equipment for the exclusive use for which they are intended and respect the other users of the space, being responsible for any damage caused to third parties through wilful misconduct or negligence;

18. It is expressly forbidden:

– Sit in the delimiting stalls;

– Eating and/or drinking inside the rink;

– The use of mobile phones and earphones while skating;

– The use of personal objects inside the rink, such as: cameras, video cameras, umbrellas, among others;

– Walking in groups holding hands;

– Throwing ice;

– Performing pirouettes or reaching speeds that jeopardise the safety of users;

19. The Ice Rink may be closed temporarily and without prior notice for safety, cleaning or maintenance reasons;

20. Movement within the entire skating area of the Ice Rink must be in the direction indicated by the monitors;

21. Use of the Ice Rink implies knowledge of how to handle skates and the general rules of use, and the organisation is not responsible for any accidents that may occur as a result of misuse;

22. Persons who are notoriously drunk or under the influence of narcotics will not be allowed to use the Ice Rink;

23. Pregnant women are prohibited from using the Ice Rink;

24. The Organisation will not be held responsible for the theft, disappearance or damage of personal belongings within the ice rink or its support area;

25. In any situation not provided for in these rules of use, users must comply with the recommendations of the venue monitors.

Carousel Rules

1. As users of the Carousel, you automatically accept the above rules, as well as the instructions given by the monitors;

2. Use of the Carousel is subject to the presentation of a ticket for this purpose, and tickets are sold on the Ticket Line or at the Forum Algarve Information Desk, at the times indicated on site;

3. The ticket is valid for any day from 2024, November 9th to 2025, January 5th, during the Carousel’s opening hours;

4. Ticket prices:

 Carousel ticket – €2

 Ice Rink + Carousel Pack – €5

5. The adults responsible for the children must remain close to the Carousel while they enjoy it, and the monitor is not responsible for any children during the activity;

6. Children under the age of 3 must be accompanied on the Carousel by a responsible adult;

7. Use of the Carousel is on a first-come, first-served basis;

8. Users must wait for the Carousel entrance and exit sign, which will always be announced by the monitor;

9. It is not permitted to eat or drink inside the Carousel, or to get up, get off or stand while the equipment is in motion, jump, climb, swing or any other action that is dangerous to the user or third parties;

10. In any situation not provided for in these rules of use, users must obey the recommendations of the monitors;

11. Users who do not comply with these rules will not be allowed to use the equipment;

12. Participation in the activity is subject to the taking of images of the participants for the purposes of documenting and recording the campaign;

13. Maximum capacity: 30 users.
