Rules for Using the Ice Rink
1. As users of the Ice Rink, users automatically accept the above rules, as well as the instructions given by the monitors;
2. Tickets are sold through Ticketline or at the Forum Algarve Information Desk, during the hours indicated on site;
3. Tickets are valid for any day during the rink’s opening hours;
4. Ticket prices (20 minutes of use):
Ice Rink Ticket – €4
Skating equipment – €1
Ice Rink + Carousel Pack – €5
Note: Skating support equipment does not entitle the user to use the rink. A ticket for the ice rink must be purchased;
5. The maximum capacity of the ice rink is 50 people;
6. Entry to the rink without skates is not permitted;
7. For safety reasons, only persons aged 3 years and older are allowed on the Ice Rink. Children aged 3 to 5 (inclusive) may only use the rink if accompanied by an adult (one ticket per person must be purchased);
8. For children aged 6 to 12 years old, it is advisable that they are accompanied by 1 adult on the rink and in the preparation area;
9. Entry to the preparation area is only permitted to users with a ticket, except as indicated in point 8;
10. The Ice Rink staff is not responsible for any children on the premises;
11. Access to the ice rink is only permitted via a designated route;
12. Skates, helmets and skating equipment are subject to availability at the time and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis;
13. The use of helmets is recommended for all users;
14. Skating with exposed knees and/or elbows is not recommended;
15. The use of gloves is recommended inside the Ice Rink;
16. Users must wait for the monitor to announce when they can enter/exit the Ice Rink;
17. Users must use the facilities and equipment for their intended purpose only and respect other users of the space, being liable for any damage caused to third parties through wilful misconduct or negligence;
18. It is expressly prohibited to:
Sit on the boundary barriers;
Eat and/or drink inside the rink;
Use mobile phones and headphones while skating;
Use personal items inside the rink, such as cameras, video cameras, umbrellas, among others;
Skate in groups holding hands;
Throw ice;
Performing pirouettes or reaching speeds that endanger the safety of users;
19. The Ice Rink may be closed temporarily and without prior notice for reasons of safety, cleaning or maintenance;
20. Movement within the entire skating area of the Ice Rink must be in the direction indicated by the monitors;
21. Use of the Ice Rink implies that users know how to handle skates and are familiar with the general rules of use. Therefore, the organisation is not responsible for any accidents that may occur as a result of misuse;
22. People who are clearly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be allowed to use the Ice Rink;
23. In any situation not covered by these rules of use, users must comply with the recommendations of the venue’s monitors;
24. The Organisation shall not be liable for the theft, loss or damage of personal belongings inside the ice rink or in the support area;
25. Pregnant women are prohibited from using the Ice Rink;
26. Group bookings for children (schools or after-school programs) are accepted until December 16, with at least 48 hours’ notice, via email to: finazafama@gmail.com. Until December 16, the Ice Rink will operate only in the morning, depending on these bookings, and will be reserved exclusively for this type of group.
