On 20 October, Forum Algarve has the pleasure of hosting the 24th edition of the Mamamaratona, an extremely important charity event in the fight against breast cancer.

This initiative, which has been growing over the years, aims not only to promote the prevention and awareness of this disease, but also to mobilise the community for a cause that affects thousands of women in Portugal and around the world.

The Mamamaratona, organised in partnership with local and national associations dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, is an opportunity for everyone, regardless of age or physical condition, to take part and show their support. The event will include a run and a walk, with the aim of raising funds for scientific research and patient support, as well as promoting early diagnosis, a crucial factor in the fight against breast cancer.

Forum Algarve is proud to once again be at the forefront of this cause and invites the whole community to be part of this special moment. By taking part, you will be making a direct contribution to prevention, awareness and support for the victims of this disease.

Registration for the 2024 Mamamaratona is open from 16 September and can be done at the Forum Algarve Information Desk. We invite everyone to take part, helping to build a future where the prevention and treatment of breast cancer saves even more lives.
