World Mental Health Day
On 10 and 11 October, on Level 0 in the covered area opposite the Nata Lisboa café, Forum Algarve will, for the third consecutive year, host an initiative organised by PSIFARO to mark World Mental Health Day, with two days dedicated to raising awareness, learning about and promoting emotional wellbeing.
Over the two days, visitors will be able to take part in mental health screenings, educational activities and interactive experiences, including an immersive virtual reality experience designed to promote relaxation, available to those aged 10 and over.
Younger children will also have activities specially designed for them, such as the “Emotional Sea”, where they can explore their emotions in a fun way.
In addition, the first 50 adults to take part each day will receive a psychological first-aid kit, containing practical tools for coping with moments of stress and anxiety.
